Gold Medalist Dr. Keerthana Rajasekaran is an accomplished Consultant in the Department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology, trained at AIIMS, New Delhi, India’s foremost tertiary-care and referral centre, with 8+ years of clinical experience.
She completed her MD (Obstetrics & Gynaecology) at AIIMS, where she was awarded the prestigious Prof. V. Hingorani Gold Medal for Best Clinical Resident in 2019, and subsequently completed 3 years of Senior Residency at AIIMS, New Delhi. Her rigorous training at AIIMS includes extensive exposure to high-risk pregnancies, complex obstetric emergencies, labour room leadership, and advanced gynaecologic surgeries.
Her clinical expertise includes advanced laparoscopic and robotic gynaecologic surgery, high-risk obstetrics, fetal medicine, infertility evaluation, and obstetric ultrasound. She is highly skilled in Cesarean sections, abdominal and vaginal hysterectomies, minimally invasive laparoscopy, robotic gynaecology, and a wide range of minor OT procedures.
She has also contributed to community antenatal health through an ICMR-funded pilot project on asymptomatic bacteriuria in rural pregnant women.
